Il existe aujourd\u2019hui en France, deux profils de praticiens\u00a0form\u00e9s rigoureusement :<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Des m\u00e9decins sexologues ayant valid\u00e9 un<strong>\u00a0dipl\u00f4me suppl\u00e9mentaire en sexologie\u00a0<\/strong>(comme un DIU &#8211; Dipl\u00f4me Inter-Universitaire reconnu par l\u2019Ordre des M\u00e9decins) et qui exercent cette activit\u00e9 de sexologue en compl\u00e9ment de leurs autres pratiques m\u00e9dicales (m\u00e9decine g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, gyn\u00e9cologie, m\u00e9decin p\u00e9diatrique, urologue). Leur approche est organique, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que ces sp\u00e9cialistes se concentrent principalement sur le fonctionnement du corps. Ils sont \u00e0 m\u00eame de pouvoir\u00a0<strong>prescrire des m\u00e9dicaments\u00a0<\/strong>et ils sont\u00a0<strong>autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 ausculter les patients<\/strong>. Ils exercent en cabinet ou bien \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital, dans les services de gyn\u00e9cologie, d\u2019urologie, d\u2019endocrinologie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Des professionnels de sant\u00e9 (sages-femmes, kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapeutes, psychologues, infirmiers, psychomotriciens, pharmaciens) et des sexologues cliniciens (membres du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.snsc.fr\/\" target=\"_self\">Syndicat National des Sexologues Cliniciens<\/a>) qui obtiennent un\u00a0<strong>DIU compl\u00e9mentaire en \u00e9tude de la sexualit\u00e9 humaine ou un \u00e9quivalent dans une \u00e9cole reconnue<\/strong>\u00a0de formation en sexologie, durant deux ans. Leur approche sexo-th\u00e9rapeutique est tourn\u00e9e vers une\u00a0<strong>cause psychog\u00e8ne du trouble sexuel<\/strong>. Ils exercent en cabinet ou interviennent dans le cadre de formation au sein d\u2019\u00e9tablissements sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s (maisons de retraite, \u00e9tablissements scolaires, maisons de sant\u00e9, planning familial, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/div><div
